Helen N. Krakowiak age 88 of Prospect Heights and Marco Island FL, passed away peacefully June 20, 2017. Helen retired from Quaker Oats and was a long time member of Prospect Heights Garden Club. She will be missed by her family, relatives and many friends. Beloved wife of Edward T. Krakowiak; loving mother of Thomas (Pam) Krakowiak, Melissa (Robert) Herrman, Theodore Krakowiak, Melanie (Thomas) Harkins and Edward J. (Lisa) Krakowiak; cherished grandmother of Eric Krakowiak, Matthew (Cathlyn) Herrman, Daniel Herrman, Rebecca (Matthew) LeBlanc, Peter Herrman, Aimee, Kelly, Stephen and Kevin Harkins and Nicole and Ryan Krakowiak; great grandmother of Clark LeBlanc; dear sister of the late Eugene Nelson; devoted daughter of the late Ira and Josephine Nelson.
Visitation Thursday June 22, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
Visitation Friday June 23, 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights, IL 60070.
